Into the Woods at Work
A Fairy-Tale Companion for Reflective Practice
Familiar fairy tales become shared objects for thinking about professional life, teams, institutions and the pressures that shape how people work together.

Where does the reader enter?
Spinning Circle Press makes books that leave room for the reader. Three commitments shape the work of the press.
Participation
Reading can be an active process: writing, associating, remembering, questioning, interpreting, disagreeing and making meaning. The book does not need to complete the thought in advance.
Depth Psychology
We are drawn to the less visible layers of experience: symbol, fantasy, memory, repetition, conflict, defence, desire and the unconscious life of individuals and groups.
Rootedness
Meaning grows through place, relationship, inheritance, language, history and ordinary life. The press values work that remains connected to the worlds that form us.
